John has decades of experience in assisting the commercial and operations teams at Fortune 500 and small private companies. John has extensive experience in the oil and gas industry assisting producers with acquisitions and divestitures and exploration and development matters. He has also represented marketing departments and midstream oil and gas companies with their transactions and agreements.

John began his career as an attorney focused on oil and gas transactions representing producers before going in-house to work at several upstream, marketing and midstream companies, including Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas Corp., Dominion Exploration & Production, Inc., HighMount Exploration & Production LLC and Linn Energy, Inc.

John completed his undergraduate studies at Stanford University and received his law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where he served on the Board of Editors of the Oklahoma Law Review. John is licensed to practice law in Oklahoma and Texas.
